Natural Childbirth Education Childbirth Education for 21st Century Parents
Next Brio Birth Series Begins September, 2011
Classes on natural childbirth education are offered on a regular basis, and are available in a group or private setting. Classes provide an in depth look at the process of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as provide both parents the knowledge they need to have a positive natural birth experience. In order to complete all 12 weeks of classes prior to birth, instruction should start during the sixth month of pregnancy. Though every class has a specific topic which is covered in detail, each class will also cover nutrition, exercise, positive communication, and coaching. A different relaxation technique will be demonstrated and assigned or practiced each week. Classes normally also feature a film or video presentation.
